These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the websites, products, and services operated by Drippd at drippd.cafe and related domains ("Drippd," "we," "us"). By accessing or using Drippd, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Drippd is a community platform for discovering, logging, and discussing cafes—described informally as a "Letterboxd for cafes." Features may change as we ship improvements. Some areas may be invitation-only or limited during private previews. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may refuse service or close accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law, harass others, or post unlawful, hateful, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload our systems or bypass access controls.
  • Scrape or collect user data at scale without permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may remove content or restrict features that we reasonably believe breach these rules.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (for example, reviews or notes). To operate Drippd, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and adapt your content solely to run, improve, and promote the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.

5. Third parties

Drippd may link to or integrate third-party services (for example, maps or authentication). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices; we are not responsible for them.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that café information or user contributions will be accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drippd and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty euros (€50), or the equivalent in your local currency if you never paid us.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using Drippd.
